· Responsible for developing and delivering H&B consulting business in China and mentoring junior consulting staff for professional development
· Aggressively promote Mercer H&B in the marketplace, develop prospects and acquire new consulting mandates
· Provide advice and assistance to clients on employee benefits benchmark, plan design, financial modeling, plan marketing, international pooling, etc.
· Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, clients and insurers to maximize Mercer's visibility, credibility and leverage in the marketplace
· Lead efforts in development and implementation of new product or service offerings
· Collaborate with other Mercer business lines to maximize cross-selling opportunities Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in insurance or relevant business disciplines
· A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience (including people management) in group insurance, consulting, broking, or C&B in a multinational firm
· Proven success in business networking, sales/marketing, negotiating and implementing deals
· Excellent knowledge of group insurance, employee benefits, and HR management
· Ability to understand, relate to and provide value-added advice to HR managers addressing HR challenges in employee benefits
· Superior analytical, organizational, sales/marketing, project management, and mentoring and interpersonal skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Chinese)
· Proven success in prioritizing and completion of multiple tasks in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
