• Technical development on CDM projects
  
• Analysis and identification of the potential CDM project opportunities
  
• Preparing Project Idea Notes and Project Design Document in Chinese and in English
  
• Managing the CDM project cycle of Factor clients
  
• Assisting in the preparation of new methodologies
  
• Assisting during validation activity
  
• Organizing meetings with relevant partners and stakeholders
  
• Taking care of the preparation of documents to be submitted to the relevant Chinese governmental organization
  
• Supervise the implementation of monitoring plan

Qualifications and skill requirements:

• University graduate with a technical degree, several years relevant working experience preferred
  
• Knowledge and interest in climate change policy and the carbon market
  
• Strong knowledge on methodologies and CDM process
  
• An understanding of greenhouse gas emissions reduction technologies, including anaerobic digestion, biomass/fuel switch, renewable energy and biofuels would be advantageous
  
• Technical and / or Project management experience in the energy, waste or industrial sector
  
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills in a multicultural, diverse environment
  
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  
• Ability to manage own work effectively and prioritise tasks
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese
  
• Project management skills
