Tasks would primarily involve conducting wood supply chain audits at IKEA suppliers and sub suppliers but would also include collection and analysis of suppliers wood sourcing data; follow up on corrective actions issued to suppliers; and provision of training to suppliers and IKEA co-workers.   The Forestry Auditor reports to the Forestry Manager for Greater China.   Essential ·         Degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Forestry, Wood Science, Land-Use Management) ·         Ability to travel frequently (mainly within China) ·         Good communication skills ·         Proficient in main software applications, including MS office, Word, Excel and             Powerpoint ·         Working knowledge of English and Chinese       Desirable ·         Auditing qualifications and/or experience ·         Experience working in international forest products company/organisation ·         Good knowledge of domestic (CN) forest resources ·         Good knowledge of forest products trade ·         Knowledge of ISO9000/quality management systems approaches
